3 Proven ways to beat imposter syndrome πŸ‘ŠπŸ»

Imposter syndrome - I am sure you have faced this before in your personal or professional journey. Β I had multiple episodes in my life where I have to overcome the imposter in me to try and learn new things.

Right from writing their personal blog, running a startup and hosting a podcast. I found three tricks that had worked for me to overcome imposter syndrome.

  1. Write down why you want to do it - This is important as you will find true motivation by understanding why.
Example - I wanted to start a personal blog, because I want to share my learnings and experience from my startup journey.
  2. Just do it - Your biggest enemy is perfection; taking action is what you need to focus on, take the first step and don't worry about getting it right.
  3. Appreciate and be kind to yourself - When you have taken the first step and have consistently delivered, take a moment to celebrate the experience and be kind to yourself. Do not seek external validation; instead, reflect on the journey and find inner peace and happiness.

How to read a book 3x faster πŸ“–

Check this technique from Tim Ferriss on how triple your speed in reading a book. I have practiced this technique over the last two years and it works.

P.S - You can also replicate the same on kindle ebooks.

This productivity hack is a game-changer (mac only)

If you are someone who uses MacBook extensively for work, this hack will be a game-changer. On a typical day, I would have to provide the same information multiple times such as email address, calendly invite, address and social links. This is frustrating and time consuming when it comes to filling online forms, composing emails and share quick notes.

You can create your own keyboard shortcut text - which will replace your shortcut with 'text'. For example, instead of typing my full address, i have a shortcut <"/address">.
